Kylo's mind floats-- or maybe it sinks instead. Nothing in the forefront of his mind but the undercurrents. A flickering worry, doubts, expanding beyond him.
Today it's Snoke. Snoke is with him again and whispering everything he doesn't want to here. That this is proof beyond doubt that he is worthless. That he should have stayed in the dark's hold, that he had been right on the cusp of being Vader's heir--
And combined with the echoing memory of Hux's touch and the cold biting through him in the hut, he has no easy place to escape.
