[ She may fall asleep fast but for Kylo-- this time it doesn't come so easily. No draining adrenaline or humming of the Falcon. Also the close but Not Close Enough proximity of Rey. He lays on his back-- and then side. Tries pulling his gloves off and then back on and-- Well then the sun is setting and he can't quite get a good hold on what's bothering him.
Besides the obvious. Everything.
A lot of things.
A lot of things he doesn't want to think about. And lying alone is making it easier to feel Hux's hands on him and--
He's not wandering down that path. So for the moment he'll sit up and quietly step over Rey. He's still exhausted and moving slowly but-- here's where the other thing that's bothering him lay.
This is where Luke chose to die.
He stands outside the hut-- it makes sense that his own from the Jedi Temple would look so similar to it. A few caretakers squawk at him and he bows his head and just tries to move away from them for the moment. Really not wanting to wake Rey with their noise.
He can see the hints, the various clues sticking around that his uncle was here. He sees the panelling from an X-wing, an old compass. A pack that just screamed moisture farmer hick and-- he heaves a sigh as he can feel the force practically tugging him in a specific direction.
He glances back to the hut-- and then where the force is trying to drag him to.
He's not quite ready to return to the too small cot that's cold and lonely and he has a feeling the Force is Not going to let up. He realizes how odd he must look out here in his all black get-up, but it's like he's been here before. Just through Rey.
He's led to a sanctuary eventually and then he turns and looks and--
He knows what he's looking at all at once.
'I'm sorry, Ben.'
Right. This is where it happened. This is where he died. Kylo-- No, Ben approaches the spot slowly, mouth set in a tight line, not with hesitation but something closer to reverence. He pauses before pulling off a glove and setting his hand down to the stone.
It somehow still rings with Luke's presence, he can feel it even now. As if his uncle was standing there with him now.
'I failed you.'
It's echos of his memories and other visions trying to make their way in. He's-- not at all ready for any of that now. It's probably a sign that it is Luke with him that he isn't assaulted. It's a choice for Ben to see what Luke wants him to see now.
The tears, the mourning and grief don't come yet. Emotionally nothing is hitting him yet. Twilight fades and soon he realizes he's lost nearly all the light of the sun, so he picks himself back up and slips his glove back on.
He'd be back.
Once he's made his way back to the hut the stars have just started to show themselves and-- Really maybe his Uncle had just helped him find peace and resolution because he looks at the cot and then he looks at Rey on the floor and.
It's pretty obvious what he wants.
He's not going to risk picking her up, he's not sure if that tiny space would fit them both so. Taking the scant padding from the cot and the blankets and setting the on the ground next to Rey and-- He's getting those cuddles. Laying behind her and putting and arm around her and pulling her close.
Hux's hands are no where to be seen in this equation right now. ]
