Rey had the entire Resistance to deal with and Chewbacca, Lando, and Jannah knew better than to go against Rey's wishes at this point. Like. She looked a Little crazy whenever Jannah started to point out that "hey that is literally Kylo Ren, though??". And from there?
He slept. A lot. Apparently getting his life back after being genuinely cold and dead for long enough was very taxing. He could feel when Rey climbed into the bunk with him and pressed her head to his chest. He was vaguely aware of when Chewbacca came in to throw a blanket over the lump of his body. But you know.
From there things were a bit wild.
First it was about where to drop them off.
And then it was Rey's friends continuously calling her as the both of them were watching the news tickers on the holonet come out with outlandish rumors. Fortunately, it seemed that most of the galaxy believed Kylo Ren to be dead-- which he certainly was. But the Resistance still had to deal with the fall out.
So every time they got settled and more familiar with one another, they were thrown another loop and Rey would have to go deal with it.
So. You know. Maybe it's good that the proverbial cat is out of the bag.
