He's nearly too wrapped up in his own thoughts, but then he realizes this panic isn't his own (he had grown so used and nearly comforted by the dark. It no longer made him jump at every corner), but Rey's. Dark eyes dart up to see her and--
Did he do this to her?
Is this why he was so suddenly torn from his training?
He scrambles over the couch, fumbling only slightly before he's standing to reach her and-- It seemed natural, intuitive, to wrap his arms around her and hold her tight. ]
It's okay-- [ His voice is rough but quiet. ] It's okay. I'm here.
