[ Leia heaves out a weary sigh. She'd known how the conversation might progress, but it's done what she'd needed it to do: planted seeds. Now, it was time to determine if anything would take root. Expecting anything more in the span of night would have been unwise.
When it becomes clear he won't offer more, she sets her hands on her knees and rises, leaving the tray where it sits.
'Believe it or not,' she says, stopping at the door. 'Your father and I are trying to save you.' And, with that, she disappears around the corner, and catches Poe in the midst of snooping, helplessly trying to catch snippets of a conversation, like a guard dog waiting for any threat to pounce upon. He's heard nothing, of course, but Leia gives him an unimpressed stare. Poe doesn't look apologetic in the least.
Soon after, she turns to Rey. She hates to make the same request of her, she says, but Rey is the only one equipped to resist Kylo's interference. It would be too easy for him to escape, manipulate others into unlocking his cell. Rey looks faintly surprised. ]

Poe starts to stammer out an argument, insisting he can handle it just fine, but Leia orders him to rest and refuel. He's been at his post long enough. Rey watches them both leave, Poe still arguing along the way, and then slides back into the corridor.
The hum beneath her skin returns with a vengeance, but she ignores its presence as she returns to her corner, intent to ignore the fact that she's been turned into a glorified babysitter for Kylo Ren. ]
