Kylo/Hux: This is such a huge maybe it's almost a no. I am not down for fluffy Kylo/Hux. I don't think Kylo or Hux secretly love each other and that takes form in them wanting to murder each other when they walk into a room and see each other. I do not think Kylo wants anything to do with Hux's dick Ever. I only see this happening as Hux taking advantage of Kylo when he's emotionally compromised and unprotected without Snoke keeping Hux in line.

I know everyone and their mom with an armchair psychologist degree wants to diagnose Kylo Ren/Ben Solo with whatever mental illness checks all the boxes. I know Bipolar and Borderline personality disorder are two popular illnesses to cite when it comes to his mental health. Along with a healthy dose of citing him as a sociopath/psychopath. However, I'm not going to be using those illnesses/personality disorders in how I play Kylo. While they fit on paper, I don't believe "what's wrong with him" presents in the correct fashion in canon for any one of the above listed issues.

I believe Kylo Ren/Ben Solo is suffering from: Recurring Chronic Major Depression it could be passed down through their family given what we know of Anakin and what happened with Luke; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder From his force powers manifesting with him having little control over it as a kid, from being sent away to Luke after his mother couldn't handle him on her own anymore, from his father leaving one day and never coming back, from having a voice whispering in his head his entire life, from that voice being a predator who preyed on his weaknesses and molded him into what he wanted Ben to be, from Luke Skywalker holding a lightsaber above his head, from abuse after abuse from Snoke, and probably a Ton more. Abandonment issues stemming first from his parents (And quite probably friends he had who left for whatever reason, or bridges he burned on his own) and then just. The entire force tbh. And abandonment issues is where he gets his unchecked rage, he, in canon, is quite literally triggered into a rage whenever he confronts someone who he felt abandoned him, or when he feels rejected or left behind. Finally he is a victim of Brainwashing and indoctrination from Snoke. Snoke is a narcissist who was using Kylo as a means to an end, it's been stated and shown that he was ready to kill Kylo after the Last Jedi since he had become unbalanced and unpredictable. If you don't agree with what I am saying here (Which is fine :) ), then I suggest you don't play with me. I am fairly confident in this being the way I see and play Kylo.

I play him as having triggers. I won't get into the reasoning behind each one, but i'll specify the specifics which come to mind: Abandonment (Perceived or real), his family, loss of control (Physically, emotionally, mentally, through the force)

I didn't believe you wanted that. [ It's more nuanced than that, really. Harder to sum up. ] Not only that, but rebuilding the Jedi with me.

[ He feels as though he's the least qualified for any of this. He's bad example number one here. There's NOT MANY examples left but he is currently the Worst. ]

[ It hurts to hear him doubt her when she's so convinced she's made her feelings known. If not through words themselves, then at least through action. Made vulnerable, her expression falls at what she has interpreted as indirect rejection. I didn't believe you wanted that feels like an excuse, a justification for not returning her feelings or hope for the future. Instinctively, she withdraws, sitting up properly. ]

I do. [ She says, firmly, in case there is room to misconstrue. ] But I'm not expecting you to decide now.

[ There's admittedly a defensiveness to that statement that she can't hide, suddenly guarded. He needs time, as Luke has informed her, and she has accepted as much — but it's the fact that he has not even entertained the thought that she has invested herself in this, that she believes they share something meaningful, that perturbs her. ]

He looks to her-- confused and trying to parse through her emotions. Her hurt and defensiveness and perturbed nature. Their bond is as clear as every, but that only means her emotions run through him like ice water at times. Clear and sharp in their sting. ]

What's wrong?

[ He could try to guess but that would turn out hilariously wrong. ]

[ She could point out that he hadn't answered her in any straightforward sense; the question of whether there is or isn't an "us" to consider still hangs in the air, unaddressed, but I didn't believe you wanted that might be enough of a cue on its own. Rather than leave it at that, her eyes return to his, deliberately trained there as she pursues — well, something more. A direct response. ]

Is there an us? [ This time, she stresses the syllables with an unwavering stare. ] I thought there was. I thought all of this meant something.

[ To her, it had. Ben has given her every reason, every reassurance, to think it had been significant for him as well — but perhaps that has changed. Perhaps he has reflected on it with regret. She doesn't know, and can't be certain, without his input. ]

[ -- Oh. Well this is awkward. This is "We should have really talked about this" awkward. But they can't. Becauuse they are dumb. Horatio levels of dumb. It's impressive really.

Kylo listens to her speak and considers what she's saying. His words don't come quickly and he's not immediately shooting down what she's saying, but that's only because he wants to say the right thing. ]

That morning-- [ He doesn't feel the need to specify which morning. She knows. ] -- I thought that I'd pressured you too much.

[ Depended on her unfairly, put her in a position that she had to return his affection or she was afraid he'd fall apart again.

It's all difficult to say now. Sticks to the roof of his mouth and in his throat like some of the grosser ration "pastes" out there.

He swallows thickly and continues. ] I want to be with you-- I know you aren't here simply out of obligation.

[ She'd said that, affirmed that. Stayed here with him despite the need for her back at the Resistance. ]

I didn't know your desire to start a Jedi temple with me.

[ Which is where most of his surprise was directed. Just-- he is bad at words and voicing emotions and feelings. ]

I want to figure out what the future holds for us — and people like us — with you.

[ She corrects — softer, now that she doesn't feel the need to reaffirm what he has already recognized: that she isn't committed to him out of any obligation. Her image of the future is still too vague, too hazy of a concept, to consider whether that entails a new Jedi Temple. He has only just returned to her, after all; she hasn't had the requisite time to reflect on it, to embellish it with details, beyond rebuilding a collapsing Jedi Order. Creating something new, something different, and learning from the past's mistakes.

What she does know, with absolute certainty, is that she wants to share it with him. Wants to figure it out with him, whatever that means for them. That future feels within reach, now that she is no longer carrying this burden alone. ]

You haven't pressured me. [ Here, her eyebrows knit, puzzled. The morning he has mentioned is clear in her head, but she can't pinpoint a time in which she ever would have felt pressured. Undeniably, she feels a sense of responsibility to him, yes, but only insomuch as she firmly believes they have a responsibility to do right by one another. ] I want you.

[ She stresses those words, emphatic, as she twists to hover over him. ]

I want to be with you.

[ And if not now, if the timing isn't right, then she wants to be with him eventually. One day. ]

[ His eyes study her, the way she hovers over him. Protects him. She's sincere-- of course. She's always so sincere and honest, it's honestly a bit of a downfall.

But he needed that right now. ]

I thought-- perhaps I was too hasty. [ In fucking her or declaring his love for her and really just being the general Mess he is all the time. It's really hard for him to get the words out on this. But he's doing his best, just for her. ] After the cove- you closed yourself off.

[ Each of them reading insecurity as rejection smdh ]

[ "I thought perhaps I was too hasty", he says to the same woman that shipped herself to him in order to convince him to return to the light. Does "hasty" even exist in Rey's book? Galaxy's greatest mysteries. ]

[ It's difficult to describe, to put her dejection into words. Rather than try, she latches onto his insecurities and focuses her efforts there in the hopes of setting this misunderstanding straight. ]

Did it feel too hasty to you?

[ The question is intended not only to lead him into self-reflection, but to erase her concerns that he's rethought the entirety of their relationship and decided that, yes, perhaps he was too hasty in his approach. ]

[ He can feel the weight of that question and thus doesn't answer it hastily. He doesn't want her thinking that he's completely mindless in his thoughts or feelings for her. Certainly they were both spontaneous and had a certain level of...

thoughtlessness to their actions. But he can finally feel how much this has weighed on her.

So he thinks back to that night they spent together. The taste of her skin when he first kissed her neck, how her lips felt against him, her cunt squeezing around his dick and -- everything that happened.

He inhales and then exhales. Clearing the tight tension in his chest and trying to focus. ]

No, I've been wanting this for some time. [ And there's his honest answer. ] It was never a reaction to... what happened.

[ He really hopes he doesn't have to specify on that. ]

[ Relief soothes over her — and, coincidentally, floods their connection. She had wondered if he had confused his gratitude for affection, if he had hoped to erase what happened to him by losing himself between her legs — but he erases those concerns in two simple statements. ]

[ Unabashed, she admits that without hesitation or shame. Of course she had wanted him for some time, even before she was willing to acknowledge her attraction for what it was. It bears repeating, if only because she is convinced that Ben is truly oblivious to the magnitude of her desire, the intensity of her feelings for him.

I don't want you to feel uncomfortable with me.

[ All this time, she has left the choice to approach her in his hands, uncertain of initiating anything beyond what she has. Uncertain if her advances would even be welcome. She has been toeing that line, patient, restricting herself to chaste and small displays of affection; discerning where he has wanted more from her has been a Difficult Process, to say the least. ]

[ It just went from hot and heavy to super chaste first relationship very quickly, and to be quite honest he has no idea on how to navigate this. Even in the best of circumstances they are inept dunderheads who can't figure their shit out.

But at the very least she was patient and.... understanding when he pushed her to explain what she wasn't understanding. ]

You're not making me uncomfortable-- I wanted control back.

[ TO grip his agency with his own hands and hold it tight. She just happened to be the closest thing to practice that agency on. But at times it became hard to discern what she wanted because of her understandable skittishness to-- everything. ]

I meant what I said. I love you.

[ Control. She can understand that when it had been torn away from him so grotesquely. What she can't comprehend is the continuance of his feelings for her or the depth of them. It's been days, and still his mind hasn't changed as she feared it might. If anything, he has only reiterated the statement time and time again, each more ardent than the previous confession.

If anyone has ever loved her, she can't remember it with any vivid clarity. Ben is the first, the only, to hold her in such high regard. Her eyes feel hot, watery, when she next blinks, but she doesn't turn away from him. ]

I know. [ Maybe that isn't the answer he wants to hear, but it's the only answer she has right now, overwhelmed and unbalanced. Despite the moisture brimming in her eyes, her lips curve to a shaky smile. ] I believe you.

[ And that much is sincere, unwavering. At a loss for what to say, how to express herself when she has never been the most eloquent or gifted with words, she leans forward to brush her mouth against his, soft but lingering. ]

[ The datapad is pushed between their chests as he leans up to meet her lips with his own. It's soft and chaste and promises nothing more than the kiss for the moment. He's still a little frightened that he may spook her or some shit idk. Guess that's a natural consequence of kissing Kylo Ren. Gettin' the spoops.

But for a moment he melts into the kiss she initiated. Cherishes it for that fact alone. He's hesitant to pull away, and even when he does his lips still brush against hers when he speaks. ]

I want this-- and I want you.

[ He wants that nebulous "us" she spoke of. ]

[ Reaching between them, she plucks the datapad off of his chest before it can continue digging into her own and deposits it somewhere above his head. All without an actual care to where she's placed it, fumbling blindly. To her credit, she hasn't shattered it in the process — the result of unhurried affection, no doubt.

Without any frantic, fervent hormonal rush involved, she takes to him slowly. Once he's done speaking, she slides her mouth back over his, cupping his cheek to pull him in properly and purloin those sipping, gentle kisses. She has never been soft — but, for him, she wants to be. ]

You want "this". [ She repeats in a murmur against his mouth. The upturn quirk of her own presses to his, a sign that she isn't fully serious and likely teasing him into elaborating when she continues, ] What do you mean by "this"?

[ Inquiring minds want to know, now that she thinks on it. ]

[ Her kisses are gentle and entreat him for more affection. He's want to give it to her-- a certain tension draining from his shoulders as she pulls him close and he can steal her heat and touch. One arm stays on the floor, keeping him upright as she continues to kiss him, the other curves over the bend of her waist.

Actually is she even dressed? I can never tell w rey tbh. ]

I want there to be an "us".

[ He clarifies, somehow managing to only have a minimal amount of sass to the way he forms that sentence. ]

[ After Luke appearing and general awkwardness, she's likely taken to actually wearing clothes. Probably ??? Some ratty shirt she scavenged from the Falcon's bowels for her sleepwear.

A contented hum vibrates the back of her throat, nearly a purr as he encircles her waist. In response, she leans against and into him — narrowly avoiding crawling into his lap in her enthusiastic want for the affection he has chosen to freely give her. Allowing him his space had felt necessary, but she can't deny that she's missed this.

This — the easy physical and emotional intimacy between them, exploring their closeness, wrapping around one another so completely. She feels almost selfish for it, but it's become evident that she's been denying and depriving herself and now finds herself touch-starved and melting into him as a result. ]

As allies?

[ That clearly isn't his meaning at all, and she clearly hasn't truly interpreted it to be, given the levity to her tone and the playful nip she gives to the corner of his mouth. ]

[ Yup. GUess ceiling ghost Luke Skywalker is watchin' y'all masturbate so. THERE U GO.

And as much as she soaks him up, he's doing much the same. Pulling her tight to him and longing for the feel of her body slotted together with his. At this moment, it felt like all he had.

And as for her cheeky response, she'll get dead pan in response. ]

The kiss gets disrupted by the huff of her laughter, breathing it out against the corner of his mouth. At another point in time, perhaps they would be an us as sworn enemies, dedicated to their separate ideals and opposing factions. Now, it's less of a harrowing reminder of where they had once stood and more of a ludicrous testament to how far they've come.

Withdrawing from him seems nigh impossible with how adamantly they're clinging to one another, but she tries to press her palms to his chest and pretend to pull back. ]

I don't think Jedi are meant to consort with their sworn enemies.

[ "Consort". Sure, that's what it's called. ]

[ She may push down on his chest but she's not getting very far considering she's in his grips. ]

Jedi aren't meant to consort at all.

[ What a helpful thing to point out but at t his point in SWARS canon Anakin is the only one we have proof of ever getting laid. Seriously.

[ She could break free if she truly struggled, apply the Force to her efforts, but she has no genuine desire to escape. Instead, she wriggles around for no other reason than to put up a fight she has no intention of winning. ]

[ Because she's a good little Jedi. Obviously. Except she can't, and won't, abide by their outdated rules. She feels too deeply to rid herself of her emotional attachments, the very same connections that have begun to give her a place and a purpose. ]

[ Honestly, he's the last person she should be consorting with. Maybe that should worry him more, that this was some sort of novel thrill for her. He was an interest and nothing more. But really-- somehow it solidifies it in a way. Once she confirmed this is what she wanted and he could only hope that she remained so steadfast in her desires.

She struggles and he fights back by simply flipping the both of them over, his hands find her wrists and hold them down as they further entangle themselves in the blankets and each other. ]

Then what did you mean by "us"?

[ This has now become a game of "who will admit that they want to date first?" ]

[ Otherwise known as "hetero chicken".

The blankets, disheveled and skewed from their playful grappling, soften the press of her spine into the hard flooring once he's pinned her. Ben dwarfs her in both size and physical advantage, a broad shadow cast over her, but it doesn't feel imposing — even with the realization that he has cornered her into a confession.

Or, at the very least, made the attempt to do so. It doesn't work, primarily because her mind is too muddled, torn equally between playing into the role she's already established or shattering the moment to allow him a heartfelt answer. There isn't any need for the latter, she eventually decides; she has not minced words in admitting that she wants to be with him, wants to map their future together, and so she concentrates instead on futilely rolling her wrists in his hands to no avail. His grip doesn't break no matter how she presses upward or swivels around on the floor, leaving her chest heaving with exerted spurts of breath. ]

The two of us together as allies, like I suggested.

[ With that reply, her brow arches, as if daring him to contradict that. It's much more than that, and they both know it. ]

[ I mean, there's an extra layer to the weirdness of this interaction since he's in his armor this morning. You're full up kylo ren'd right now Rey. 100%. Gloves, bracers, tunic. Leatherleatherleather. Kink material right here.

Don't tell him, it would ruin the effect.

He hums softly at her admittance, leaning in to brush his lips against the curve of her neck up to her jaw. A soft kiss much like the first one he gave her. ]

So it's completely normal for allies in the Resistance to kiss one another-- [ His lips rise to find her ear and press along the ridge. ] -- strip one another -- [ This time he nips at her ear softly.

And yeah of course this is to rile her. Duh. ]-- and fuck like animals on the floor?

[ Hint: There is no good way to answer this Rey. He will joke about fucking poe then. HE WILL. ]

[ She's only just beginning to learn that, yes, this is A Thing she enjoys. Complete and utter Kylo Ren domination — or seduction, as it stands. There isn't any mistaking her arousal, either; already her skin has begun to flush and glow, trailing across her cheekbones and beneath the loose collar of that raggedy shirt, and she has since stopped her squirming and shifting. Her wrists stay limp in his grip as her head tilts to the side, baring her neck without any fear of what's to come.

When she moves to press her thighs together to alleviate some of her frustration, find some much needed friction, she finds it's a futile endeavor. His body wedged between her legs prevents her from doing much more than clamping her knees around his hips, too far for her to mindlessly grind herself against him.

And, speaking of mindless, she very nearly does gasp out yes in a lust-filled, desperate fog. Yes, she wants that — but that isn't what he's asking her, is it? She forces herself to pay attention, even as her breath hitches, unable to disguise her whimper as his teeth snag on the shell of hear ear. A night together has been enough, it seems, to afford him a map of her weak points — where to press his mouth against her neck to elicit a shiver, and how to scrape his teeth against her skin to invoke a shiver despite how feverish she suddenly feels. ]

I'm more than just an ally to the Resistance. [ Which is, in a way, entirely true. More than that, it doesn't fall into the trap of answering with an affirmative or a negative. ] I'm a Jedi, and Jedi aren't mean to consort at all.

[ As he's told her. Like either of them will allow that to stop them, but that's merely part of the facade. Part of whatever game they've chosen to currently play. ]

That's unfortunate.
